And Now -

The Book Review "Confession of an IT Employee by Shalini"

As most of you may know, I work in an IT Industry where people work out their ass to earn. Those, BIGGG glass building cuts off us from the rest of the world as soon as we enter it. Though one may earn in lakhs, the health and fitness for most of the people are below average. Since I can correlate more of them happening in the IT culture, I wanted to read this book: "Confession of an IT Employee" instantly.

The story talks about the life of an Engineering graduate: Sanchita who gets herself placed in a reputed IT company in Banglore. Her excitement and nervousness grew as her joining day came closer.

On the day of joining, she meets another new joiner: Bhoomija. These two girls, fortunately, get placed in the same project. Though the initial days were good and happy, people around started to notice Sanchita with more curiosity, which created uneasiness.

The difference in the environment was obvious as Bhoomija was engaged with works while Sanchita was assigned none.
Things were growing out of control when she attends a meeting with the manager and other seniors to discuss her performance in the project. With one chance to prove her capabilities, she worked hard, yet nothing favoured her. The work pressure in the office and in her relationship was making her go into depression.

After a couple of weeks, she understood IT was not her cup of tea and at the same time, she was not in the position to leave this career as her parents will not approve of her writing career choice.

What did Sanchita do now?? was she able to prove her skills in her company or she left the job without giving any heeds to her parents will??

Read the book to know the story of Sanchita and her friends in the IT company!

This book felt so realistic to me, as I work in the same industry. Most of the incidents shared were so true that I have watched or faced them in real life. This book will surely be a gift for every IT employee who wanted to tell ppl how the industry work (exceptionals are always there)
